Assuming this gives you one node that can be mined once per day per account, allowing three strikes and five Volatile Magic per strike, it would take 666 days to earn back the cost --- almost two years. And that doesn't take the fifty gold into account. Not a bargain.

Well if you will not be eating Kralkatite Ore as well. I bought it to have 100% of all nodes but lately I noticed that 1000 magic per day with my infinite gathering tools isnt bad at all.
