Talk:Bleeding
Deleting something that is confirmed to be in the game because we don't know much about it? I disagree with that. Honestly, isn't that what the stub tag is for? --76.179.156.33 02:26, 16 June 2010 (UTC)
- A stub tag is for incomplete articles, not short ones. We have no idea what bleeding does, except for pre-conceptions from GW and logic. It would be like creating a crafting page. I was tempted when you created the stun page to.--Corsair
@Yarrr 02:39, 16 June 2010 (UTC)- There are articles here made with nothing but speculative information. This is well above that line. We know bleeding exists, we currently know of one skill and one trait related to it. We might even have an idea of what the bleeding condition looks like in game from the skill videos. My only complaint with the article as it is now is that it assumes that bleeding is still a degen which we haven't had confirmed yet. Keep it. -- Aspectacle 02:58, 16 June 2010 (UTC)
Bleeding[edit]
In this video at 4:35 it is called Bleeding, not Bleed. 87.97.119.163 12:10, 16 March 2011 (UTC)
- About time. I mean bleed, seriously? (Xu Davella 12:19, 16 March 2011 (UTC))
Cap at 9 stacks?[edit]
In this [video][1] you can see, that 9 stacks aren't the cap. It goes up to 25 stacks bleeding.
"187.107.52.10" who updated the stack limit, please link something to prove your right, cause all vids from february prove that bleeding can go above 9 stacks..
Affected By[edit]
Is it safe to say that non-fleshies are immune? - C0c0c0 21:14, 6 May 2012 (UTC)
- The question should be: 'Are non-fleshies immune to bleeding?' If they are, I don't see why not. TheyCallMeIgi 02:13, 15 June 2012 (UTC)
Effect of Malice[edit]
The page says 'increases by 1 point for every 20 points put into Malice'. What does one 'point' mean in real terms? What is the base number of points? 100? 203.153.205.241 03:43, 8 May 2012 (UTC)
- Condition damage is also improved by character level. Malice is put on top of that. I'm actually rather surprised we have such accurate numbers on something like this already. Mediggo 06:25, 8 May 2012 (UTC)
Bedmas[edit]
Please stop adding useless brackets to the mathematical equation. If you have free time to question the order of operations, I suggest you familiarize yourself with bedmas. Venom20 03:27, 20 June 2012 (UTC)
I thought the purpose of the wiki was to distill information and present it in a useful way that is accessible to as many people as possible. If rewriting the statements (it's not an equation, by the way) makes it easier for those less mathematically literate, and doesn't change anything for those who are fine with the way it is, why not just change it? --184.155.204.17 01:44, 30 May 2013 (UTC)
Armor Ignoring?[edit]
Anyone test to see if bleeding ignores armor? I didn't pay much attention in the last beta... PixelMatt 20:05, 29 July 2012 (UTC)
- All damage by conditions ignores armor. —Dr Ishmael 20:45, 29 July 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks doc! PixelMatt 00:51, 30 July 2012 (UTC)
Damage - level dependence[edit]
Is the damage really no longer level dependent or was this mistakenly removed from the page? Chad 18:00, 5 August 2012 (UTC)
- The numbers displayed in skill descriptions got all borked up in the stress test, and I think the changes are meant to reflect that. However, the actual damage dealt still followed the old formula, so I've reverted it. —Dr Ishmael 18:23, 5 August 2012 (UTC)
That list is awful[edit]
Why doesn't someone make a table for each class, listing the skill, the slot, and the number of stacks? As it is its inconvenient and unsightly. I would, but I'm not wiki savvy. 69.65.92.11 23:55, 5 August 2012 (UTC)
- I agree although by the looks of it all or almost all the relating pages will need the same change. Time for concepts! - Endeavor 00:00, 6 August 2012 (UTC)
- I created something - Endeavor 03:01, 6 August 2012 (UTC)
- Um, it looks broken to me. —Dr Ishmael 03:26, 6 August 2012 (UTC)
- Yeah, I see it too. Oh well... - Endeavor 03:55, 6 August 2012 (UTC)
- I'm not used to more advanced wiki editing, but it seems like there'd be a way to extract this information on-the-fly - it's already there in the form of templates / categories. Before I thought of that, however, I made a partial table. If a generated table is possible and someone can point me in the right direction, I wouldn't mind doing the work for it... Reashu 18:05, 4 September 2012 (UTC)
- Yeah, I see it too. Oh well... - Endeavor 03:55, 6 August 2012 (UTC)
- Um, it looks broken to me. —Dr Ishmael 03:26, 6 August 2012 (UTC)
Someone needs to rewrite that equation. Should be "x=0.05(Condition Damage) + 0.5(Level) + 2.5" Garkus 04:43, 20 October 2012 (UTC)
- why because it is clunky looking for you? order of operations says its correct either way written. 96.15.253.182 05:10, 20 October 2012 (UTC)
Change to Rune Section[edit]
With the Rune changes, the Krait Rune (4) no longer applies bleeding when hit. That line and the headers above it should probably be deleted. Since it was more than a simple edit, I didn't want to change it myself.
