It can collect orichalcum ore, but out of ~18 I've mined with it so far, I haven't noticed any extra resources or rare drops whatsoever. It's not clear to me what the advantage over an Orichalcum Mining Pick is supposed to be. Maybe I'm really unlucky, or it's bugged? --Felbryn 07:26, 15 October 2012 (UTC)

No, I agree. I've yet to see ANY extra drops. So far as I can tell, it gives you a zero chance of finding them. DashRaptor 19:19, 18 April 2013 (UTC)
