Enhanced armor piece containers[edit]
All of the "enhanced" armor pieces are listed as dropping for level 10 or lower characters when they kill foes. This IS NOT true. I have run through 2 characters so far from level 0 to the low teens and NONE of the pieces have dropped for either. ~~ecks —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 72.211.183.218 (talk) at 18:05, 26 February 2020 (UTC).
- From what I experienced "level 10 or lower" as in the item description seems to be correct.

Customer support restored my deleted enhanced armor containers[edit]
Like many others I did not realize this achievement's secondary component of literally equipping the items chosen from all of the enhanced armor containers and deleted them. Customer support was kind enough to restore for me the containers. Here is an excerpt of the correspondence:
After further investigation and consideration, we would be more than happy to assist with recovery of <items>
In that case, please escalate my ticket to a senior GM.
It is evident from my partial progress of the "Beginner Experience Collection" achievement that I have at one point possessed the named items, and from the combined inventory across my account that I no longer possess them. As the items in question are account bound, the only 2 possible explanations are that either I have deleted them or my account has been rolled back, and I've readily admitted to the former (deliberately, as mentioned previously, but with incomplete information).
We were not able to verify this particular item loss in our records. It is not possible for the Guild Wars 2 Support Team to replace such an item without independent verification of its loss and the circumstances surrounding a loss incident.
On <date> I acquired these 5 items for the first time:

I opened all containers but then destroyed each of their contents, not realizing that a secondary component of the collection achievement is to literally equip each of the armor pieces. Although the collection achievement itself obviously mentions the "Equip..." components it does not say that those items can only be acquired from the above containers, and neither those containers nor the armor pieces mention the secondary component.
I understand that these containers are theoretically obtainable again on the same account. I also understand that they are effectively unobtainable a second time, with reports of hundreds of kills without a second drop, of creatures that there is otherwise zero reason for any veteran player to spend time on and that cannot be organically encountered.
I would like to request the above 5 items (or any of their contents) restored to my account so I can complete the achievement.

- I just realised that repeated drops have extremely reduced drop chance :/ I wonder if support would restore the items 2 months after they were deleted? (What is even the point of punishing players with these reduced droprates...) -- kazerniel (talk) 00:10, 12 September 2020 (UTC)
- Woohoo I managed to get mine restored too! They couldn't find a record of the the leggings container (or what I got out of it) on my account at first, so only restored the other pieces, but I asked again while pointing at my partial achievement, and they gave me one of the leggings from the box. I have the same issue. I had discarded the chest piece without equipping it. Asked support to restore it but they denied. They just say they are unable to do it. I dont know if it is even possible to do this achievement anymore. (26th June 2021)

- Yes but the drop rate is so low you will not get it for hoooouuuuurrrrrrrsssss. this achievement is flawed in many ways. i dont understand why they didnt restore the item for me. its just sad :(
Acquisition with characters over level 10[edit]
I deleted the containers before using them, some at least. When farming the containers again, i got several of them from the bandits in Queensdale.
The oddity: My synced level is 11, not 10 or below. But the bandits are level 9, so my guess it that this might suffice.
