why delete?

I don't see why this would be inappropriate. We have articles for voice actors (e.g. Claudia Christian), as a precedent for documenting people who are associated with GW2 although not directly employed by ArenaNet. —Dr Ishmael 19:41, 10 July 2013 (UTC)

I would also say retain the article, though I am concerned about the validity of the public domain tag on the photo since the rationale seems to be that it's on her facebook and linkedin profiles, which is certainly not the same as releasing it into the public domain. 20:14, 10 July 2013 (UTC)

It's not a question of permission, exactly. If Asja were to explicitly release that photo into the public domain, or license it under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, we could use it here. We are actually not certain why User:Claret tagged the article for deletion; we're waiting for elaboration from her, I think. In any case, the photo being a potential copyright violation doesn't warrant the article's deletion; we'd only remove the photo. 21:33, 10 July 2013 (UTC)

That's somewhat unrelated; his concern has to do with the wording of the deletion rationale, not whether the article should be deleted. That's what we're talking about here. The consensus so far is that the article should stay but the photo might be a copyright violation. 21:36, 10 July 2013 (UTC)
