This skill currently has quotes around the name in-game, but it's not a shout, so that doesn't make sense. Should we move the page, or wait until the next BWE to see if they fix it or not? —Dr Ishmael User Dr ishmael Diablo the chicken.png 21:06, 15 May 2012 (UTC)

Since there will be a new build, let's wait and drink some tea. Gnarf 21:08, 15 May 2012 (UTC)
This actually had its skill type changed to Shout, and according to Jon Peters, there are 3 more Shouts that aren't implemented yet due to incomplete backend tech. At least that eliminates the confusion between "pet skills" that are used by your pet and "Pet" utility skills. —Dr Ishmael User Dr ishmael Diablo the chicken.png 15:45, 23 July 2012 (UTC)
Oh, nice to know. So rangers will be able to get played as shouters. Fancy! Gnarf 06:31, 30 July 2012 (UTC)

I tried this skill in beta weekend 3 and it works even when your pet is defeated. It's also non interrupt-able when the pet is defeated (specifically, the pet doesn't get hit by AoE and enemies never target it in PvE), and if a player should pass from downed to dead, the pet keeps on reviving them anyway. The only thing that stops it is if you use re-task the pet with F1-4. It turned out to be incredibly useful in group boss fights. 116.48.4.12 09:20, 1 August 2012 (UTC)

I noticed that this skill causes the hounds from "Hounds of Balthazar" elite skill to also revive an ally, essentially making 3 "pets" reviving at the same time. Not sure if this was intended, but it basically triples the revive speed for this skill. It was pretty useful in dungeons.

Search and Rescue effect on pet[edit]

The pet gets an effect called Search and Rescue, with the same icon as the skill, which lasts 10 sec, but doesn't say what it does. So I'm wondering. Perhaps it's the time the pet has to reach the downed ally? (surely not the time to revive them). Is it certain the pet gets a speed buff? (I didn't notice that). If so then maybe this effect is (also) the duration of the speed buff? Does the pet get some sort of immunity during those 10 sec? --Alad (talk) 08:25, 11 May 2013 (UTC)
