Spears are lethal objects found only in Tribulation Mode. There is no consistent indication where Spears are located (though there are often clues, like a slight change in elevation or texture), and they will instantly kill any player who gets hit by them. In many cases, a small rock in the middle of a Spears may provide the only safe stepping stone for progressing forward.
