I thought those names seemed familiar >.> lol -Chieftain Alex 00:58, 29 November 2013 (UTC)
- Wow, that’s a terrible reasoning Relyk. Those names just make no sense at all… All those values are very specific to a subset of the armor type. The game even mentions the generic names as “Head Armor”, “Leg Armor”, “Chest armor” etc. So the armor type property should be updated instead too…
- Guess cleaning that up will involve a bit more than I anticipated ^^ Ah well, fallback values ftw. poke | talk 01:01, 29 November 2013 (UTC)
- Btw. somewhat related, we will need to have a property about the armor weight for skins too. I temporarily considered making the skin type a compound value (i.e. “Light head armor", “Heavy head armor” etc.), then thought about reusing the existing one, or making a separate one. Using the existing one would make sense given that when looking for armor skins for a certain weight both skins and real armor pieces are of interest. poke | talk 01:04, 29 November 2013 (UTC)
- Yeah this got brought up in a round about way at Template talk:Armor infobox#Template doesn't work with armor skins. your solution sounds better though. (I've got a gnawing feeling at the back of my head that we use the armor class property to distinguish between armor and weapons somewhere in a template, but that might be incorrect) -Chieftain Alex 01:11, 29 November 2013 (UTC)
- “your solution sounds better though” — which one? D: poke | talk 01:18, 29 November 2013 (UTC)
- My vote was for "has armor weight class", provided I can take a look tomorrow to see if I can find a dependent template. -Chieftain Alex 01:24, 29 November 2013 (UTC)

- While I take great joy in your expressed dislike by describing it as "irritating and illogical", I did note the discussion on Property talk:Has armor type. Maybe you want to provide feedback there.--Relyk ~ talk < 01:35, 29 November 2013 (UTC)

weapon types[edit]
I didn't even notice at the time that the API uses "Speargun", "LongBow" and "ShortBow". Are we happy to continue with "Harpoon gun", "Longbow" and "Short bow", or do we want to change it? -Chieftain Alex 18:57, 7 August 2014 (UTC)
