Lady Mosyn
“The cold ichor of paint. Fingers smear color across smooth slate. [...] Freedom, expression, whimsy. Art. Are we truly free? Zakiros looms in the distant fog, dripping with obsession and machination. Were it that Midnight could end. So that dawn would come.
Lady Mosyn was the founder of the Kryptis House Mosyn.[1] She was the muse of the Kryptis, supporting fancies and arts originating from within Nayos, and not copied from other worlds. She was vibrant with a mirthful laugh, and shone and flowed with colors some Kryptis did not know their kind were capable of.[2] Febe thought of her to be resplendent, and was always curious about her work,[3] while Eparch thought she was jovial with an enviable charisma.[4] Mosyn was executed by the Scythe of House Aurkus Kanaxai at the Coliseum of the Midnight King under the orders of Kanaxai's master Aurkus for her treason against the Midnight King Eparch.[5][1] After her execution, other Kryptis stopped creating art,[2] while Eparch started bringing influence from other worlds.[6] Mosyn's body was brought to rest by Febe to the Tree of Mourning, where he, members of Mosyn's house, and even wanderers would often come to mourn the loss of the Lady.[7]
