Garenhoff Fractal Research is an object located in Wizard's Ascent within the Skywatch Archipelago. It is found in the same room as the Faction Provisioner, which is accessible by walking directly south from Beacon of Ages Waypoint.
The situation in the Garenhoff fractal progressed rapidly. Within a few minutes of the tower's destruction, the elementals in the town had become completely unbound and began attacking the citizens. Within a few hours, the released magic coalesced into a powerful storm that hovers over the area. Fear has spread rapidly through the populace as well, adding a possible vector for incursions.
Conclusion: As suspected, the loss of the tower has immediate catastrophic local effects, in addition to the obvious long-term risks for Tyria as a whole. Protection of the tower should remain a critical priority. We recommend running other experiments on other potential scenarios related to the tower's safety to help and build a robust set of contingencies for all possible threats.
