pretty freaking bad ass looking mesmer. which you better be if you are using butterflies to beat people up with :) He also has no pupils in his eyes! I wonder if that means we will have some eye options? and is his face paint a tattoo or is that a scholar mask? I'm definitely liking how he has it and normal tats. --Moto Saxon 23:19, 18 December 2011 (UTC)

after a second look i dont think any of those are tats on his face. i think they are all face paint, they must be armor, as they are died different colors. i hope they are at least. --Moto Saxon 00:16, 19 December 2011 (UTC)
This armour is just horrible... Why are those boots so chunky? Everything looks out of proportion. It looks... almost WoWish. :/ Or maybe it's the norn rather than the armour. pling User Pling sig.png 00:39, 19 December 2011 (UTC)
it does look wowish. Regardless, ive read lots of comments of people liking it. And it may just be the norm, they are supposed to be chunky to differentiate them from humans. --Moto Saxon 01:26, 19 December 2011 (UTC)
Man in dresses, the only thing I don't like about Mesmers... 213.84.146.153 08:57, 22 December 2011 (UTC)
'Tis not a dress. 'Tis a robe (or a kilt in more extreme cases). 199.126.36.42 13:40, 22 December 2011 (UTC)

Dare I ask how someone came to the conclusion that this is a mesmer?... Just a side note male mesmers never wore robes or dresses previously to this game -_-'...Skirts are the paragons forcé Auberon Dreamwhisper 01:37, 25 December 2011 (UTC)

I think the only reason this is recognized as a mesmer is because it was featured in one of the linked articles with a mesmer-centric interview. Also, do remember that armor is not restricted by profession, a norn elementalist or necromancer could very well be wearing this same get up. -Yossitaru 02:40, 25 December 2011 (UTC)
It's the feature art for a mesmer interview. Aqua (T|C) 03:07, 25 December 2011 (UTC)
guild wars 2 mesmer link roundup "Massively wrote up a nice overview of the mesmer game mechanics, hosted the cool mesmer skill videos. Have you ever wondered what a hulking norn male mesmer looks like? Massively has the answer!" massively interview (just to close this topic) --you like that don't you..The Holy Dragons 09:19, 25 December 2011 (UTC)

hahah, I must say this armor is not really to my liking, too wow-ish, although it is better than the para armor from gw1 JnewUser Jnew Tormented Scythe.png 14:32, 27 December 2011 (UTC)
@all those "mesmer don't wear dresses" - fun fact, its for ele and necro as well, it's just featured on a mesmer. And it's a robe, which casters do wear (even if not in GW1, oh and this is a norn not a human - and if you go to norn week, we saw many similar armor designs, under the name of shaman outfits - 10 bucks says this is male caster wolf shaman outfit). Nice to see the Onyx Scepter is making a return. I use that on my mesmer in GW1 XD 67.181.180.101 19:23, 27 December 2011 (UTC)

Going to point out that 1)Norn aren't very charming. So its gonna look awkward seeing a Norn Mesmer. 2) The norn have adopted a more Dwarven appearance in their armor since their exodus south. Which is why its so bulky. 166.147.114.42 05:26, 29 March 2012 (UTC)
