I hate this picture[edit]

The reason why is because of the ogre's swing. When something that big is against a target that much smaller than itself swinging a hook only looks weird. I realize that from the angle it is probably trying to convey that the warrior is ducking the blow; however, after looking at it for a few seconds it just seems more like the generic attacks you can see in alot of RPG RTS and MMO games, the first time I had this issue was back when I first fought a titan boss in WoW's dungeon Uldaman Ironaya. Where my character would frantically hack at her ankles and her swings would miss me by a large margin(visually). I liked the giants and ogres in GW1 because their attacks would actually contact with your model when you were attacked. A slightly more visually appealing is to have more overbearing styles of attacks from creatures like this where it actually hits your character rather than that invisible box which is where you really are. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 206.57.22.197 (talk).

Who says that's a hook punch? Maybe he's slamming down with a fist. We see no movement, so we can't be sure. -- Konig/talk 08:13, 18 May 2011 (UTC)
Also note that the picture is almost a year old now, we do not know if anything changed in their interaction animations. - Infinite - talk 10:40, 18 May 2011 (UTC)

After a srs msn convo, this all makes sense now. He aimed with his left and punched with his right, whereafter this screenshot was taken. Plausible. - Infinite - talk 13:46, 18 May 2011 (UTC)
yea a serious msn convo xD --you like that don't you..The Holy Dragons 13:46, 18 May 2011 (UTC)
actually, he is using a skill called "armpit stench". The posture makes total sense now. --Moto Saxon 17:23, 18 May 2011 (UTC)
