I doubt that the different pet specie categories (bears, wolves, etc) should be subcategories of the pet type categories (Amphibian, terrestrial, aquatic), as I'm pretty sure there will be hostile bears, sharks, wolves and so forth, that would also be grouped in their own species categories. The result? Normal mobs showing up in a subcategory of "Animal Companions". Thoughts? --Tuomir 18:41, 18 August 2011 (UTC)

We can change that once we get confirmation that they are also hostile creatures. --Xu Davella 18:53, 18 August 2011 (UTC)

Pet or animal companion?[edit]

Why is this category inside Pets category? I thought ranger's animal companions had been replaced by pets, and now Pets category refer do animal companions as a type of pet? I'm confused. – Valento msg 00:54, 16 July 2012 (UTC)

Overlooked. The individual pet articles don't go directly in this category, so I didn't even notice it when I updated the pet articles. —Dr Ishmael User Dr ishmael Diablo the chicken.png 01:34, 16 July 2012 (UTC)
So, basically, animal companions are pets, and all the others are summoned allies? or pets are summoned allies? this category makes confusing if I'm supposed to call ranger animals "pets" or "animal companions", isn't it better to rename 'Pets' to 'Summoned allies'? – Valento msg 02:03, 16 July 2012 (UTC)
I mean, the category 'Pets' to 'Summoned allies'. – Valento msg 02:04, 16 July 2012 (UTC)
Oh, just now I saw that you brought up this already. :P – Valento msg 02:13, 16 July 2012 (UTC)
