- The prisoner exhibits knife marks on his clothes, as if his attacker surprised him from behind and stabbed him repeatedly.
Look closer.
- The bones on his right hand are calcified, as if years of hard manual labor caused some of them to fuse. Judging from the corpse's position and location, it appears he was trying to dig his way out.
This man was part of a failed escape.
