Queen Jennah's watchknights are an outlier among semiautonomous constructs, designed by a single engineer with comparatively limited resources. While they are an extraordinary feat of mechanical and arcane artistry, they have limited noncombat utility.

A fractal exploring the impact on Kryta if Scarlet Briar had been allowed to collaborate with the crown engineer garnered some interest, but it was determined to be less valuable than monitoring the watchknights' ongoing development.
