Achievement locations confirmed[edit]

Confirmed the baubles and hidden rooms with the achievements fortunately--Relyk ~ talk > 07:32, 2 April 2013 (UTC)

Cardinal directions[edit]

I may be nit-picking, but the use of compass directions is quite arbitrary without a compass, and could confuse people. --184.155.204.17 20:13, 2 April 2013 (UTC)

It is not. All across the world, when you look on the map, north is above, south below, east to the right and west to the left. You always can open the map and see, which direction you're heading. MalGalad 20:25, 2 April 2013 (UTC)
^You'll notice the use left and right a lot because I'm too lazy to check the direction.--Relyk ~ talk > 23:09, 2 April 2013 (UTC)

Rainbow paths upon completion?[edit]

I've noticed that, upon defeating the cage boss in normal mode, the infantile mode rainbows appear as a path up to the cage as they do in infantile mode. This has even been acknowledged as happening in a side note of the article. Does anyone know if this was intentional? Anonymouse 10:29, 9 April 2013 (UTC)

I would think so, yes. There are additional bounce mushrooms (besides the one seed you can drop) that appear around the trunk, too. It's all to help players who fall off right before the cage is destroyed get back up quickly so they can open the chest before the timer runs out. —Dr Ishmael User Dr ishmael Diablo the chicken.png 12:48, 9 April 2013 (UTC)

Purple bauble dig in Area 2 backtrack[edit]

Can anyone confirm this part? "If you now jump over to next plattform and move forward you will see an alcovoe on the right hand side which you can not enter. Now dig to get an purple bauble in the alcove, since you can not enter the alcove you require the whip to get it."

I can get the regular blue baubles digging at the entrance to the alcove. But after 50-100 digs have yet to see a purple or anything else actually appearing inside the alcove. Also using the whip on regular baubles doesn't seem to do anything to them. 24.247.70.51 21:50, 11 April 2013 (UTC)

I can confirm -_- MalGalad 23:27, 11 April 2013 (UTC)
Thanks. I'll have to try again next time I'm there. I've tried 3 or 4 times now (probably 200 or so digs total) and have yet to get it. :( 24.247.70.51 01:26, 12 April 2013 (UTC)
Seems to be a pain in the ass, I can't get it either--Relyk ~ talk > 01:28, 12 April 2013 (UTC)
I believe it's bugged sometimes. Either it appears after using the whip or it doesn't. I stopped going to this spot for this purple bauble since its just a waste of time. Geekfox 06:07, 27 April 2013 (UTC)

Walkthrough rewrite[edit]

I'm in the process of rewriting the walkthrough for this zone to match the walkthrough on Sunny Glade -- see my sandbox for my current progress -- and I'm in need of input. Do we prefer the current approach of "use shortcut wurm, then backtrack, picking up baubles as you go", or my approach of "here's where you can use shortcut wurm and here are backtracking instructions, but the bauble guide will assume you backtracked all the way to the wurm's mouth after using the shortcut"? The benefit of my approach is that it lets the reader decide what order they want to do things in, but it's getting a lot longer than I was expecting and I'm not sure if it's an improvement anymore. --Idris (talk) 09:02, 14 April 2018 (UTC)

I never use shortcut wurm; it's too silly and a waste of time cause then you have to backtrack if you want to pick up baubles or dig spots. I would approach it by saying "Optional: here you can use shortcut wurm, and you can backtrack if you want to pick up baubles, and you will need to if you want to collect 100% of the baubles." But just leave it at that. I don't think there's a need to give backtracking instructions, just continue a forward walkthrough. ~Mervil User Mervil Sig.png 17:13, 14 April 2018 (UTC)
I agree with Mervil. Mention it as an optional path as you pass it and point out that after the final checkpoint you should go back to it for the baubles. J.Tesla (talk) 17:20, 14 April 2018 (UTC)
Okay, thanks for the input. That sounds pretty similar to what I've already written (third section); do you think I've gone into too much detail? --Idris (talk) 01:12, 15 April 2018 (UTC)
