Defend the Pact soldiers at Hope Falls is a level 76 dynamic event that occurs in Malchor's Leap. The event determines if the Pact maintains control of the camp near Hope Falls. It will temporarily contest the Valley of Lyss Waypoint. If successful, the Waypoint is cleared and the camp remains. It will also spawn the Escort Pact troops and equipment to Wren event. If failed, the Waypoint remains contested and the camp is lost.
The event has two parts. First, risen attacking the camp must be defeated. When enough risen have been killed, a Veteran Risen Bruiser spawns which must also be defeated. The event fails if all four solders are downed at the same time. If downed, they can be revived.
