Defeat the avatar before it steals the relics is a level 80 group event that starts in the Bastion of Knowledge and is the final event in Livia's event chain, starting with Collect relics for Livia, and keep the Kryptis from stealing too many in the Bastion of the Obscure.

Walkthrough[edit]
This is a short event. After the previous event, simply follow Livia for a short while and then a Champion Avatar Kryptis appears. It must be defeated within 10 minutes.

- Livia: Special delivery from the relics workshop.
- R'tchikk: Livia is truly a sight for R'tchikk's sore eyes. Thank you for the shinies.
- Livia: Again, just doing my part.
- R'tchikk: Indeed... Unload the shinies, everyone!
- Livia: Wait... Something's coming.
- R'tchikk: Oh, very bad...
- Livia: Ugh, is a five-second break too much to ask for?
- Livia: You all keep moving the relics. We'll handle this beast.
- During the event
- Livia: I mentioned that I really don't like the Kryptis, right?
- Livia: I don't just cheat death. I can deal it out as well.
- Livia: You're not getting these relics!
- Livia: These demons don't quit. But neither do I.
- Upon event completion
- Livia: Back to the hole you crawled from, beast.
