You're fairly far from civilization, friend. What brings you out here?

I could ask you the same thing.

A former...uh, colleague...said that the bandits in the camp to the south are planning a strike on the Seraph outpost at Hidden Lake.

A former "colleague"? What does that mean, exactly?

When I was a mite younger, I ran with some bad folks. Did a little forceful redistribution of wealth. Managed to get out, but some of my friends didn't want to give up that life.

How did you get out?

Well, let's just say the Seraph found me and gave me a choice: join them or spend six years in jail. Didn't take to the idea of extended capacity too well, so I joined the Seraph.

So, what's the current situation?

The Seraph have a small outpost at Hidden Lake. The bandits know that if they take it out, they'll be able to knock the Seraph back on their heels. They've got a dozen or so recrutis primed for a suicide run.

When is this all supposed to happen?

No idea. But I'm not going to sit around waiting to be a victim.
