May I...[edit]

Plaster some usertalks with the invitation template? User Nuclear7 sig image2.jpg nuke7 User Nuclear7 sig image2.jpg 11:21, 9 March 2008 (UTC)

Go ahead RT | Talk 16:20, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
Don't. No need to spam when the wiki's activity is so low. Anyone who checks out Recent Changes can't possibly miss these messages here.
Wait for a few months for activity to pick up, or go run your game on another wiki, GuildWiki, PvX or GWW, pick your poison (those also have the side benefit that the spam of the game will be lost in Recentchanges, which can't be said for this wiki). Thanks. --Dirigible 18:50, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
But I always use minor edit? And wouldn't it be better now to spam pages now instead of when we have to do real activity? right now, nobody posts serious stuff up, simply because there is nothing to confuse it with. Anyway, I'll respect your desicion Dirigible. You are, after all, a god amongst us mere mortals. (no sarcasm) User Nuclear7 sig image2.jpg nuke7 User Nuclear7 sig image2.jpg 19:07, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
Bump, still waiting for a response. User Nuclear7 sig image2.jpg nuke7 User Nuclear7 sig image2.jpg 14:44, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
Response. Lord Belar 21:01, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
I meant a serious one, belar. Preferably from dirigible himself. User Nuclear7 sig image2.jpg nuke7 User Nuclear7 sig image2.jpg 08:47, 11 March 2008 (UTC)
Since you put it so logically, go right ahead, son. -- [[User:Dirigible|71.229 Dirigible]
Eh, is that you, Dirigible? Me confused... User Nuclear7 sig image2.jpg nuke7 User Nuclear7 sig image2.jpg 13:10, 11 March 2008 (UTC)
Keeping minor edits glued on does practically nothing to reduce spam, as almost no one hides them (the default behaviour is to show them).
Also, I'm not exactly certain who you expect to reach by canvassing; those who actually check this wiki will all already have seen the Mafia page here, making such soliciting pointless. So, please don't spam.
Regarding whether to hold a Mafia game here at all or not, leaving your sarcasm aside, I'm not insisting on you not doing so (for now, at least). I just think that playing on one of the active wikis is a better idea, both due to their larger population of potential players, and because of the continuous activity there it's easier for the Mafia flurry to cause less disruption. Several Recentchanges pages worth full of Mafia townies trying to figure out who to lynch on the new GuildWars2 wiki is bound to raise some eyebrows. Probably the most appropriate solution of all would be to use the current wikis to recruit the players, then create a new Wikia wiki all of your own to play there.
Again, I'm not insisting that you do so, they're just suggestions. But if you do decide to hold the game here and this gets out of hand in any way, we may have to discuss this issue again. Thanks. --Dirigible 01:07, 12 March 2008 (UTC)
There's 2 Mafias going on and 2 Mafias coming up on the Unoff 'Wiki. I don't check the Off 'Wiki so idk about that :) Guess someone could host a game over there too. --- User Vipermagi Sig.jpg-- (s)talkpage 15:17, 12 March 2008 (UTC)
I sincerely apologize if I offended you, Dirigible. If that remark seemed sarcastic, I can assure that was not the true purpose. If you feel that me plastering some advertisements will be too much disruptive, I will take your advice. User Nuclear7 sig image2.jpg nuke7 User Nuclear7 sig image2.jpg 15:42, 12 March 2008 (UTC)
