Springer 3[edit]
Hey, sorry to hear you had trouble getting to the jackal with the springer. I'm one of the odd people that managed to do so, but a) it sucked to do, and b) I'd never recommend it. G R E E N E R 06:15, 7 November 2017 (UTC)
- I have a question about that edit myself as you removed it from the requirements, but that's how I got it, with Springer 3, and I didn't have Skimmer 3 when I started the heart. Since obviously I cant check now I'd like to make sure the wiki is up to date: when you went to do it, did you have Springer 3 and it didn't start the heart, or was it just hard to get there with Springer 3? If it's the former, then that's a bug, if it's the latter, the page should be reworded to include Springer 3 again as one of the requirements for starting the heart, but specify that Skimmer 3 is more advisable for both reaching and starting the heart. - Doodleplex 18:57, 7 November 2017 (UTC)
- Thank you for pointing this out. I had Sprinter 3 and Skimmer 1 when I made the edit. The heart did not show up at all and I did not succeed in getting onto the platform. I do not know whether the NPC would have allowed me to start the heart. But seeing it was missing on the map, I figured it was certainly intended to start with the Skimmer 3 requirement. Working with software, I would advise us to document the Springer 3 requirement as a bug and tell new players to get the Skimmer 3 requirement instead. --Paradrop (talk) 22:04, 14 November 2017 (UTC)
- I believe the heart only shows up once you reach the top of the tower, and doesn't at ground level. I'll try to remember to double check later, and if that's the case, then it's likely that nothing changed and Springer should still work making the heart not a appearing more of a graphical anomaly. - Doodleplex 22:22, 14 November 2017 (UTC)
