Hey, yet another active contributor on GWW poking their head in over here. Nice to see ya, Calor (t) 22:32, 29 December 2007 (UTC)
- Hey there. -- Brains12 • Talk • 23:36, 29 December 2007 (UTC)
- Hi to both of you :). But one little thing: I count as active on GWW? I only have 200-300 edits total :P. —Ebany Salmonderiel 16:26, 30 December 2007 (UTC)
- You have at least 500 contribs :P And you're on every day, so yeah, you are active I guess -- Brains12 • Talk • 16:45, 30 December 2007 (UTC)
- I suppose, I didn't realise I had that many. I hated the mass-editing frenzy to get myself ready for the bureaucrat elections, though; it just isn't like me. I'm about to propose changing that part of the policy, I wonder what other people think. —Ebany Salmonderiel 16:53, 30 December 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, that's one of the worst parts of that policy. Lord Belar 16:59, 30 December 2007 (UTC)
- I doubt it will be changed though, it's sort of required to keep out sock accounts and the like. -- Brains12 • Talk • 17:01, 30 December 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, I suppose so. Re-reading it, the only bit I disagree with is the 100-edit limit, but I don't have any ideas better than that, so I've given up on it. —Ebany Salmonderiel 17:05, 30 December 2007 (UTC)
- (EC)Socks are usually pretty obvious. If we give the sysops the checkuser function, then they shouldn't be a problem. Lord Belar 17:06, 30 December 2007 (UTC)
- Unfortunately, checkuser is another thing that some people don't want. So I doubt that will be implemented either. (Also, Belar, you can use {{ec}} here :P) -- Brains12 • Talk • 17:10, 30 December 2007 (UTC)
- I still don't understand why, but I guess some people are a little fanatic about "privacy." (Cool, an ec template! :P) Lord Belar 17:12, 30 December 2007 (UTC)
- (There's also {{ri}} :P. You may need to subst: them though, not really sure about that.) -- Brains12 • Talk • 17:13, 30 December 2007 (UTC)
- That's okay, I never reset indents. :) Lord Belar 17:16, 30 December 2007 (UTC)
- Spam Pyramids ftw. Calor (t) 17:16, 30 December 2007 (UTC)
- Did you see gigathrash's spam pyramid template on GW? Lord Belar 17:17, 30 December 2007 (UTC)
- Unfortunately, yes -- Brains12 • Talk • 17:20, 30 December 2007 (UTC)
- It was fun while it lasted. :) Lord Belar 17:23, 30 December 2007 (UTC)
- Unfortunately, yes -- Brains12 • Talk • 17:20, 30 December 2007 (UTC)

(Reset indent) I wish I'd seen it. I do not really want to see a repeat on my talk page, just a link would suffice. It's a little strange how busy my talk page has become all of a sudden :P. It reminds me of User:Skuld's —Ebany Salmonderiel 17:34, 30 December 2007 (UTC)
- It got deleted. :( You could look through the history of Entropy's or Marco's talk on GW, if you really wanted to see it. Lord Belar 17:38, 30 December 2007 (UTC)
- I'll have to have a look at that :). BTW, I didn't want my talk page to become a spam pyramid. A spam cake would be good, though :). —Ebany Salmonderiel 17:44, 30 December 2007 (UTC)
- Lol, nice. :) Lord Belar 17:47, 30 December 2007 (UTC)

Sig test — Ebañy Salmonderiel 21:01, 30 December 2007 (UTC)
- I like it. Lord Belar 21:01, 30 December 2007 (UTC)
- Thank you :). I like it too. I'm going to have to change it, though, so it looks slightly better (I want it clearer than that colour grey). —Ebañy Salmonderiel 21:02, 30 December 2007 (UTC)
- Why the tilde, now? Calor (t) 21:10, 30 December 2007 (UTC)
- Because tildes pwn. Lord Belar 21:12, 30 December 2007 (UTC)
- I always used to misspell this name :P. Ebañy is a character in the Deverry series by Katharine Kerr. Ebañy Salomanderiel tranDevaberiel, I think that's his full name. —Ebañy Salmonderiel 21:14, 30 December 2007 (UTC)
- Ahh. I feel enlightened. Calor (t) 21:49, 30 December 2007 (UTC)
- "Because tildes pwn." - Tell that to Raptors. -- Brains12 • Talk • 22:47, 30 December 2007 (UTC)
- Eh? Raptors not like tildes or something? Lord Belar 22:48, 30 December 2007 (UTC)
- He only uses three, so only his sig comes on without the date. And you have no idea how annoying that can be... -- Brains12 • Talk • 22:50, 30 December 2007 (UTC)
- Edit his sig page to include the date, and then have an admin protect it. :P Lord Belar 22:52, 30 December 2007 (UTC)
- Just one thing - I can't enter his preferences. -- Brains12 • Talk • 22:55, 30 December 2007 (UTC)
- No, like User:Raptors/sig or whatever it is. Lord Belar 22:57, 30 December 2007 (UTC)
- Your sig is in your preferences, which can only be edited by you. Calor (t) 23:00, 30 December 2007 (UTC)
- It's not allowed (on the GWW at least) to put your sig on a page to be transcluded whenever you sign (in other words, put your sig into User:Brains12/Sig, and in preferences put in {{subst:User:Brains12/Sig}}. You can't access the preferences of someone either, so it is impossible to edit someone's signature. -- Brains12 • Talk • 23:02, 30 December 2007 (UTC)

Hi Ebany![edit]
Hi. Just wondered if you're still active, and if you might remember me from the good old days? Titus The Third 14:53, 12 May 2014 (UTC)
- Hey there! I'm a semi-active player, but retired from the far more time-consuming pursuit of wiki-editing. And how could I forget Third Tits Ehu? By the way, quaggans <3.
- P.S. I am seriously impressed that you waited five and a half years for this! I admit it freely, you got me! — Ebany 16:55, 12 May 2014 (UTC)
- Hehe. Must admit that I'd totally forgotten about it, but my gw1 wiki talk page was kind enough to remind me! :) Just had to click your quaggans link above of course, but I really thought Jingle Bells would sound like Rick Roll backwards *dissapointed* :P Titus The Third 18:51, 13 May 2014 (UTC)
