With all these insights into the damages of a select few skills, how has the target's armor affected your data? Are you testing things on foes with 0 toughness? Or how does that also factor in? Venom20 14:27, 21 September 2012 (UTC)
- I do the majority of my testing on heavy golems in the pvp lobby. They have ~2600 armor—my best estimate is 2595. It also works out that the base tooltip damage is very nearly exactly how much damage you will do on average to one of these heavy golems. Very convenient, that. As a side note, since damage is inversely proportional to armor (which is toughness + defense), something with 0 armor would take infinite damage :) You can see the effects of low armor on critters--they are low level and have very low armor, which is why at high levels you crit them for hundreds of thousands of damage. ~ Capric 14:57, 21 September 2012 (UTC)
