Sometimes unspecified race is better[edit]
Regarding your recent edits - it's often times better to denote that an NPC's race is simply unknown because marking it with something else can lead to miscategorization (golem is not the same as construct thus marking husks as such is blatantly wrong) or misleading notions. There are also some NPCs which simply don't have a "creature type" (that being the GWW's term; GW2W's term is Race, and the in-house term is Family). It's better to leave as blank to denote "it's not known" rather than making up stuff because it can easily be wrong. Konig 20:07, 9 March 2014 (UTC)
- Noted. But is there a way to remove them from the Category:NPCs with no race specified page so that this is an option/people like me new to wiki updating dont recreate this mistake? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Blookies (talk • contribs).
- I think it's best to leave them there, because they don't have a specified race. I'll clarify the category description however, hopefully that will work. Also, sign your comments using four tildes (~). Konig 20:14, 9 March 2014 (UTC)
Sorry, I'm lost. As I said, new to wiki editing. What do you mean by signing? Probably about to happen again. Blookies
- Just typing four ~'s (will look like ~~~~ on edit page) at the end of your comment on talk pages. Also: indent new comments with colons (:) at the beginning of your comments when responding to another like I've done (you can see via editing). Konig 20:20, 9 March 2014 (UTC)
