I have an NPC related question/observation. It has seemed to me that every Karma merchant I encounter who is NOT also a renown heart NPC sells the same exact items--three (formerly 6) cooking ingredients. Is this just me? Jauranna 16:37, 12 September 2012 (UTC)

Cooking materials I think is the default list for the "filler" NPC's During the BWE every Vendor looked like it was selling Loaf of Bread The developers have said in the BWE that a lot of karma venders were made just for cooking recipe and the heart vendors are designed for selling armor. Will this project include enemy/hostile NPCs? Humanoids and animals? If so, we'll want to keep that in mind. Dunno if we'll want to have a slightly different format for hostiles, or just be sure to keep both sides in mind when finalizing the template. Jauranna 21:17, 12 September 2012 (UTC)

That is still up for debate. I am more aiming for NPC's that players interact without killing. Event NPC's, Story NPC, Heart NPC, Merchants of all types. Personally I think it should be separate due Bestiary Attached to it. Even though they use the same infobox. Anzenketh 12:14, 13 September 2012 (UTC)

So, I am excited to get started on this project. What still needs to be decided before the template(s) are fully ready? One thing I wonder with Renown Heart NPCs: Do we really need/want to list them under both Renown Heart NPC AND Karma merchant? I mean, aren't ALL Renown Heart NPCs also Karma merchants? So it's just redundant? Jauranna 19:53, 20 September 2012 (UTC)

Could you give me a example where this is done. It may need to be done for categorization purposes. As for the templates I think what needs to be decided is the page layout for each NPC. Basically pick what looks good and make a template out of it. Anzenketh 00:43, 21 September 2012 (UTC)
Well, for starters Farmer Diah, Farmer Eda, and Field Medic Leius are three examples. Jauranna 16:18, 21 September 2012 (UTC)
