Shiverpeaks Explorer 173/175

With the advent of the Flame and Frost life story, an additional waypoint and point of interest have been added to this region

Are these two still available? If so, where are they? If not, how is anyone supposed to gain the final tier of the SP Explorer achievement, which appears to include these two ("173 out of 175", yet I have completed all SP areas)? 68.101.73.125 02:17, 3 August 2013 (UTC)

FYI: You've likely missed Griffonhook Run in Lornar's pass. Unless you go there for the jumping puzzle, there's no reason to encounter the area, but that is one of the 175. I was stuck like you @173 until I spotted that while looking at the videos of jumping puzzles and realizing it gave you the "you've discovered" message. That bumped me to 174 of 175. I haven't figured out where that last "175th" area is just yet, but I presume it's something like GR. Probably look through the various SP areas for ones that have no WPs, Vistas, or POIs, I'll bet we've both missed one. ;-)

Forsaken Halls is another easily-missed Shiverpeaks area. —Dr Ishmael 05:15, 16 October 2013 (UTC)

LOL, was about to identify that for him, since I found that myself... you beat me to it. :-D You don't have to complete either, you just have to enter the areas to finish your achievement, assuming those are what is missing.

I identified it by looking at the main page for SP and each of the sub areas and looking for any area which didn't have a POI, a Heart, a Skill Point, or a Vista, and thus no direct cause to go through it. I then looked to see if any of those areas did not appear on my map of the appropriate region, and noted that Forsaken Halls was missing. I suspect that technique is likely to be relevant to finding areas otherwise unvisited in Maguuma and Ascalon, too, which are short 4 and 7 areas, respectively, ATM, on my own achievement list. P.S., just entering the FH is worth 10AP all by itself, well worth doing in addition to the 25AP you get for the SP explorer achievement.
