Unnecessary plural redirectors

Hi there, just a quick note about making redirection articles for plural forms of an article, they are not necessary. For example, the Spirit Shards redirector, within an article you may wish to say "Spirit Shards are useful", within the wiki code, you can type "[[Spirit Shard]]s are useful", notice the 's' appended outside the square brackets, the wiki software will convert this to Spirit Shards, with the 's' included as part of the link. Cutting down on the number of unnecessary redirection articles helps keep the wiki running lean :) --Wolfie (talk|contribs) 00:34, 22 June 2015 (UTC)

They're still useful for searches. Someone using wiki-search for "Spirit Shards" will not be automatically directed to "Spirit Shard" if we don't have a redirect. I doubt it would even come up in the search results, because wiki-search is stupid like that. —Dr Ishmael 02:01, 22 June 2015 (UTC)

Ah ok, admittedly this was a GuildWiki thing, was just applying same here. Do we have a policy somewhere about including plural redirects, or more generally on what are and are not acceptable redirects? --Wolfie (talk|contribs) 02:19, 22 June 2015 (UTC)
