Theorycrafting/brainstorming. Basically, its a brief analysis/overview of each weapon and a look at weapon combinations and set switching. I'm operating under a few assumptions:

  • Manually moving away from combat is impractical/undesirable because it forces you to stop attacking/opens you up to danger/something. This makes sense given the abundance of "get away" skills that ranged weapons have.
  • Ranged attacks are more valuable to a melee combatant than melee attacks are to a ranged attacker. The latter should have much greater control over range than the former.
  • A couple of other things that probably aren't too important

Obviously, everything is subject to change pending new information/experience. Traits, especially, will have a huge effect on this.
