Redirect in template

Is there a particular reason for this code?

{{Weapon set nav|Peacemaker's|shortbow=Shortbow}}

The weapon nav has a redirect in it for the short bow, and I think this may be why, but I don't know what the code is doing. G R E E N E R 20:49, 10 August 2015 (UTC)

If a name isn't the standard weapon name you need to mention it in this template. For example Template:Krytan weapons nav has a Krytan Warhammer, so we need the template to link to that page. But in this case the page got moved from Shortbow to Short Bow so we can remove it. Tyndel (talk) 21:13, 10 August 2015 (UTC)
