Talk:Veteran Oakheart (Fighting the Nightmare)

It is of a different race than Veteran Oakhearts, different appearance, different purpose; basically the only thing shared is the name. Split template is meant to mean separating this and making it a proper page. Sunlion (talk) 02:06, 5 October 2020 (UTC)

I personally don't see the point in splitting. During the story instance, they're just there to be there so the purpose angle is debatable. They simply have a different appearance, same name. No unique abilities/involvement, no unique dialogue. Very minor NPC overall. Nero9012 (talk) 02:37, 5 October 2020 (UTC)

Mostly as a reader, I really agree with the split. Lately I've noticed npcs that have nohting in common but their name being merged, and I think it is bordering on vandalism, since yes, they are minor,so what? Shouldn't wiki be documenting every thing, no matter how minor it is ? Just throwing these npcs with unique race, appearance and context on a page that is 99% about common npc (like plant vs vision?) doesn't make any sense since as I said 99% of the page has nothing than the name common with them. Noticed sometimes even the unique appearance gets lost in the "transition". Tl:dr; do not merge such different npcs, it is bad for the readers and for documenting purposes alike.
