I don't believe you need to be a person that cleared the instance. I joined a Dhuum raid and failed to kill him. I was skeptical that I would be able to loot the previous chests because the wording said "given you were the one that cleared it." However, I was able to loot both the binding and ink despite not being in the raid that cleared these instances. I've changed the wording to reflect this situation: "given that you have previously killed this boss."

This more accurately reflects the games mechanic -- I cleared Desmina, the escort, the bosses leading to Dhuum, but didn't kill him. Then I entered a cleared raid a year later and looted those chests. Drunken Bulldog (talk)

Transcendental Ink drop issues

I believe that the Transcendental Ink will not drop from its chest unless "The Ferrywoman" achievement has been unlocked. That achievement itself has some quirks; please see Talk:Hall_of_Chains_(achievements). --89.44.10.152 02:45, 7 March 2023 (UTC)
