not apt at the editing of the wiki[edit]

I'm not apt at the editing of the wiki and stuff, but clarification about the Tar Boss: If you keep him burning, he won't encapsule you in tar. There's no way to cleanse the tar. Have 1 person pick up the whisky, THEN 4 people cover the geysers, then the whisky-guy keeps the boss burning all the time while everyone else keeps dpsing him with ranged attacks. outdated dwayna guide[edit]

We just finished dwayna boss, I'm no wiki expert, and certainly don't have the time to go through all the guides right now, but since this was by far the hardest boss in-game, and there is no working strategy available on the interwebz, I decided to post some info on how we did it. Please excuse any misused expressions or mistakes, and feel free to transfer this to the normal page if you're capable of formatting properly and stuff. So then. Once you've spawned the priestess of dwayna, lure her down near the south wall as instructed elsewhere. Keep hitting her patiently down to 50%. Once she's stealthed, a single person should head north, grab and position all three sparks, and also grab ONE more spark (in our case the southeastern one). Once you've placed 4 out of 5 sparks, keep waiting for her to heal up ( do NOT position the 5th spark). Once she's back to full, start hitting her again until again down to 50%. Now she will stealth again but you will only need to place one spark, the one that you left earlier. A person should do that real fast, while the others keep on spot. She will unstealth- you now have your chance to kill her. Note that the amount of damage you have to do is rather extreme (50% of a legendary in about 40 seconds time). The task is definitely hard but not impossible- gimmick builds is the only way to go. What we did was 3 burst warriors, 1 trap ranger and a mesmer for time warp. The player with the least damage output has to unpetrify others using tears (it's suggested to stack up a lot of tears where the fight will take place, before summoning the boss). The mesmer should place the final Spark, and rush back in using blink, then timewarp instantly. This will require a lot of coordination, map awareness, high-tier equipment and possibly consumables ( use best available power+precision nourishment and best available potion of undead slaying). It's not as hard as it actually sounds, doing it the 'legal' way is actually much much harder- you have to be patient and keep trying. If she goes invisible again, you should find ways to further increase your damage (pick other professions, respec, idk), and just reset the fight. Something to note about the phase three AoE bubble: ou'll kill yourself harder frantically trying to escape than if you take a moment, step back so you aren't standing in the bubble edge, and THEN dodge roll through it. Aim for the middle of your roll to be about where the bubble wall is, and it's much easier to dodge. Another thing is that the phase two AoE projectile spread shouldn't be dodged when the circles show up (though do try to stay out of them as possible) but rather when the projectile is landing, which has a delay. Dodging early is almost guarenteed to be a hit. Was able to survive multiple waves with no damage at all during or between them after we figured this out; Much easier than it seems at first, once you get over the intimidation factor. -50.72.178.125 12:16, 7 January 2013 (UTC)

Not a timer[edit]

I've been tasting it for a while, and Dwayna's priest won't hide after a timer. It's after a fixed amount of damage taken. So DPS does not matter. All that matters is gathering the sparks faster. MithUser MithranArkanere Star.pngTalk 22:31, 19 February 2013 (UTC)

Jotun dialogue[edit]

Anyone have all the dialogue from each of the Jontuns in path 1? never get chance to read it in game.

Arah P2 Brie fight & Console health[edit]

This needs to be updated to clarify that if the console is destroyed, you are completely reset back and have to do the entire fight all over again, therefore 1-2 have to defend the console if you are completely unable to kill Brie quick enough, because being reset as you kill brie 3 times is not a fun experience. Path 1 Last Boss was eliminated[edit]

Korga is now the last boss. The mechanics of that fight were also changed, There are no bodies. All that is required is to bring the reflection crystals and stand still until he dies. The preceding unsigned comment was added by 98.254.227.58 (talk).

I know this is a super old comment, but because it's been pointed at in the Guild Wars 2 Wiki:Projects/On Wiki of Gold I'll answer. No, this is absolutely not the case, and never was the case. There *was* a bug iirc where you'd get an end chest for defeating Korga ages ago but that's been fixed, and never indicated the end of the dungeon. -Darqam 16:23, 14 July 2017 (UTC)
