They also appeared in the asuran storyline quest Split Second if you chose the "Infinity Ball" to be your first invention. Seem to be the minions of your evil future self. Maybe they originate from that alternative dimension. qqWhine 19:43, 7 October 2012 (UTC)

Looks to me that they went rogue after their creator was defeated, and now they have become like the Combine or the Borg, trying to conquer other worlds and assimilating those who can be of some use to them. MithTalk 01:18, 15 December 2012 (UTC)
