Talk:Sigil of the Night
These need to be separated, one is discovery one is not, and they are both showing up under discoveries for the Halloween event due to how the coding is set up.
- Agreed. There's no place that tells you where to get the recipe. Daddicus 21:05, 29 December 2012 (UTC)
Dungeons considered "nighttime"?[edit]
Here's something to consider -- Are dungeons considered "night"? I ask because Ascalonian weapons always seem to light up when in the Catacombs, as do those new Halloween glow-in-the-dark pets. I imagine this might not apply to all dungeons, but if you run certain dungeons a lot then one of these might be better than going with a Sigil of Force which only has half the damage bonus. tanpopo 04:54, 26 October 2012 (PDT)
I have tested this sigil.. In CoE with Sigil of the night (War Full Berserker) 43k.. Without the Sigil the damage stay 43k.. So CoE is bugged.. Now i will try the Sigil Of Force —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 151.24.22.70 (talk • contribs).
When is this active?[edit]
What times count as "night"? Is this based off server time, local time, or something in game? --BramStoker (talk, contribs) 01:14, 30 October 2012 (UTC)
- In WvW there's a clear day-night cycle. That's my guess.reanor 21:28, 28 November 2012 (UTC)
- A good way to distinguish would be by applying this to an AC weapon, as the animation (day/night changes) clearly gives away whether the sigil is effective or not. E.g., in an instance, pop your AC weapon. If blue, keep for 10% outgoing damage buff, if not blue, stick to your "regular" weapon. --80.100.223.224 23:52, 29 December 2012 (UTC)
Duble Sigil of the Night?[edit]
20% more damage or not? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 151.24.22.70 (talk • contribs).
Likely not, "Permanent stat bonuses do not stack, two weapons with a Superior Sigil of Force yields a +5% bonus to damage." (http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Sigil#Stacking_and_charging) The Scars of Time 22:42, 24 March 2013 (UTC)
