Dissapointing attack force[edit]

Did anyone else find the Orrian attack extremely dissapointing? The first bit when the haven is overrun and you have to clear it was fine, but the part where you have to hold out until the Vigil arrives there were 2 risen standing outside the closed gate, not even trying to attack it, until the timer ran out, at which point they either died or dissapeared before I could jump down from the gate where I was manning a cannon. Then the huge, overwhelming attack force you needed Vigil reinforcements to hold off consisted of 1 regular risen and the veteran, which was big but hardly a challenge given the number of NPCs attacking it. Odd, there were several waves - probably 30-ish risen total when I did it. I ended up killing them all before the reinforcements arrived though, but it certainly wasn't 1 or 2 until after reinforcements where it was then a huge group. Konig 20:55, 13 March 2013 (UTC)
I have done this some time ago, but as far as I can remember, I had a big fight with several waves, too. So maybe you encountered some kind of a bug or ANet tried to adjust the difficulty and it might gone wrong, or something like that. Balwin 09:04, 16 March 2013 (UTC)
It did look a lot like the Dynamic Events scaled down for just 1 player. I reported it as a bug (with a screen shot of us all standing around waiting) so I'll have to go back sometime and see if it's changed. Danikat 21:58, 25 March 2013 (UTC)
Definitely disappointing. Not many attacks, canons took most out. I did run out of the courtyard and keep all the risen in range of the canons, which worked until the last wave. It was very easy though. 104.63.96.15 22:19, 11 March 2017 (UTC)
