Glitched

This bow should glow blue at night and in caves/dungeons. While I see other peoples weapons lighting up, my longbow does not. I'm a Norn Ranger with Vigil armor. When I relog or re-equip the bow, it glows like it's supposed to, but the effect will wear off once I attack with it and then starts clipping. I tried taking the armor off, but it does not help. I get this all the time, the effect appears randomly - day/night, cave/open whatever. It usually lasts for a minute then fades again. Same problem with shortbow. Anyway, if you want a fix this probably isn't the best place to post this. :) 2.223.229.58 23:28, 4 January 2013 (UTC)

I know, I've reported it as a bug and will wait patiently for the fix. No big deal, it's still a nice bow. Qiff 23:13, 5 January 2013 (UTC)

Effect only works at night. It's like the current picture during the day. Fairly sure this is intentional. 2.223.229.58 23:03, 11 January 2013 (UTC)

It also works in dungeons/caves during the day. Other weapons of other people work properly in AC e.g. Qiff 10:13, 19 January 2013 (UTC)

Anyone have this problem fixed yet? i just purchased this bow last night and have only seen the effects once. 12:03, 23 Febuary 2013

Animation bug has been fixed with the Battle for Lion's Arch update, its also change how the animation works. Instead of the particle effect appearing around the bow and leaving a trail behind while moving, the particles flow along the length of the bow.
