April 19 2016 patch - Rocket Charge: This skill now executes two leaps instead of three. This skill now charges straight forward rather than angling slightly on the initial two leaps.

This is 2 leap finishers. The skill still charges forward 3 times.

Is there any way to cancel this attack?

I've seen too many times when the boss disappear and I find my self past a ledge, or recently when being triggered in the void and going right to it with this skill... —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 88.165.147.35 (talk) at 17:35, 15 April 2022‎ (UTC).

So yes, you can weapon swap to stop it (stow doesn't work). If you're out of combat that's easy but if you're in combat you can equip a kit then weapon swap off (hitting kit again also does not work) -Dak393 (talk) 01:48, 16 April 2022 (UTC)
