Wait, so this stacks with regeneration? Also, the page for Resolve doesn't say this. --ஸ Kyoshi User Kyoshi sig2.png 03:18, 14 March 2011 (UTC)

I was wondering the same thing... Clarification and page fixes please? EiveTalk 04:01, 14 March 2011 (UTC)
I know I say a dev post that said it stacked but I don't have the link or anything. Actually it probably doesn't even need to be added. I think it's common sense that two different boons would stack in effect. Even if their effects are identical they are considered different as far the game mechanics go. No one thinks bleeding, poison and burning don't stack with each other.99.1.41.126 04:53, 14 March 2011 (UTC)

More accurately, I was under the impression that Resolve gave regeneration, and that's still exactly what the Resolve page says. --ஸ Kyoshi User Kyoshi sig2.png 13:01, 14 March 2011 (UTC)
When activated yes, but passively it gives this to the guardian. 87.97.6.126 13:06, 14 March 2011 (UTC)
Rejuvenation may be a stronger version of regeneration as boon effects don't stack in effect, only time. - Infinite - talk 13:08, 14 March 2011 (UTC)
Boons of the same type will stack in length, yes, but different boons would theoretically stack in effect. --ஸ Kyoshi User Kyoshi sig2.png 16:36, 14 March 2011 (UTC)
Which is why I reckon they are different boons of the same type of effect, but with different classifications. Regeneration may be equal to the gw1 "pips" of health regen and Rejuvenation may be equal to the spirit's effect in gw1. - Infinite - talk 16:50, 14 March 2011 (UTC)
to make it more complicated, what about healing breeze? It says it stacks with regeneration... I'm assuming it stacks with this as well? 3 sources of regen if so add the trait, resolute for even more regen. 108.92.176.211 06:04, 14 April 2012 (UTC)
The skill description of Healing Breeze may be outdated or incorrect, in my opinion, but I guess it could also apply rejuvenation, since they could stack in duration. Don't know anyone who has tested this yet, might have to wait for April beta weekend event. Mediggo 11:52, 14 April 2012 (UTC)

Actual multiplier[edit]

I noticed that the multiplier seems off by quite a bit - After halfing my health I noticed the virtue of resolve effect healing me of 132 health a second with my compassion at 964 and my level at 70 with the same equation as before - Level + 0.06431 * compassion. it just seems to be not as good as beforeA Liability 03:34, 19 September 2012 (UTC)

ok tested again

  • level 70, compassion 964 > 132 healing per second - the multiplier seems to be around 0.06431
  • level 70, compassion 830 > 124 healing per second - the multiplier seems to be around 0.065
  • level 70, compassion 593 > 110 healing per second - the multiplier seems to be around 0.0674
  • level 70, compassion 300 > 92 healing per second - the multiplier seems to be around 0.0733

At level 70 the equation is 0.0602 * compassion + 74.076 = healing - note that since I dont have more than 1 set of measurements for levels I can't pin down the effect for level as of yet.

at any rate the multiplier is not fixed - the more points you have the less effective it is at improving healing.A Liability 04:07, 19 September 2012 (UTC)

OK so more data - think the offset is not just level but level*1.05

  • level 80, compassion 1351 > healing per second 165 - multiplier around 0.0599
  • level 80, compassion 908 > healing per second 138 - multiplier around 0.059471
  • level 80, compassion 710 > healing per second 127 - multiplier around 0.0605
  • level 80, compassion 498 > healing per second 114 - multiplier around 0.06024
  • level 80, compassion 300 > healing per second 102 - multiplier around 0.06

all of that variation seen can be due to rounding errors, if we change the above level 70 data to use the new calculated offset: 73.5 hp due to level

  • level 70, compassion 964 > 132 healing per second - the multiplier seems to be around 0.060684
  • level 70, compassion 830 > 124 healing per second - the multiplier seems to be around 0.06084
  • level 70, compassion 593 > 110 healing per second - the multiplier seems to be around 0.0615514
  • level 70, compassion 300 > 92 healing per second - the multiplier seems to be around 0.061666

this all would seem to agree that the real equation is 0.06 * compassion + 1.05 * level = healingA Liability 09:44, 4 October 2012 (UTC)

I took 2 additional data points at zero compassion: level 1, 5 health per second; level 2, 6 health per second. I'd suggest the slight alteration to your formula of 4 + level + 0.06*compassion. ~ Capric 01:39, 10 October 2012 (UTC)

double denomination[edit]

The 5 pt. trait of the Ranger's "Nature Magic" is named Rejuvenation, too - it's tooltip says that it gives Regeneration. Shouldn't the page be edited accordingly?77.180.23.54 21:18, 18 January 2013 (UTC)
