Talk:PvP reward (historical)
Additions[edit]
Added a full overview for each profession type and sorted by PvP rank. I also added a lot of new armor sets to the list for each profession.--Anve 00:35, 9 August 2012 (UTC)
fix[edit]
fixed some incorrect names such as renaming 'Fighter' to 'Soldier', added Internal links as well as a header textsize 3 for all the armorclasses Zora★Diem 13:08, 2 June 2012 (UTC)
suggestions[edit]
Maybe PvP weapon and armor rewards should be on two separate pages? A split would kinda make sense. --Anve
resources[edit]
!!! Come Stresstest Aug 9th I'll be listing all screenshots for all weapons and armor on my talk page for everyone to use. User_talk:X08 (X08 17:42, 11 August 2012 (UTC))
I think it might be a good idea in terms of armor to either make a gallery on the rewards page with redirects to individual armor set pages, or just have the images themselves as a gallery on the individual armor pages. I prefer the latter. --Anve 10:50, 9 August 2012 (UTC)
Split Weapons and Armor[edit]
I'm in the process of splitting weapons and armor into separate pages.
There is going to be a massive amount of data on the two, especially if preview images start getting used. I believe splitting the two will make everyone's lives much easier. --Greyf0x
Moved all weapons + armor info to relevant[edit]
As discussed above, I've gone ahead and moved all the weapons and armor info to the relevant pages Greyf0x 11:43, 28 August 2012 (UTC)
Merged weapons and armor.[edit]
I've gone ahead and merged the weapons and armor into this single thread again. I've been conducting research on where items drop and how they are crafted with the mystic forge, so I've also updated the content using our most recent understanding of the subject. I mention this so that people understand I'm not removing certain sets without reason. I've also tidied up the info and presented it in a table, for easier reading.
I think the best method for organising all the weapons and armour will be to have this central page with links to each set. Users can follow the links to go to a set's specific page. Those pages will contain screentshots and detailed information on how to obtain the items. I will mark the "PvP armor" and "PvP weapon" for deletion, as they will be redundant with this complete list --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:Greyf0x (talk).
Added all PvP armor[edit]
I've just added links to all the different PvP armor to the table. These are based on every set visible in the PvP locker. Some sets we know (or have a good guess at) which tier they belong to, the rest I have lumped under "Unkown Rank".
I'm also trying to develop a standard layout for the PvP armor pages, once that's ready, I'll start populating the list with data. -Greyf0x 13:00, 18 September 2012 (UTC)
PvP Rawhide Armor?[edit]
Has somebody really gotten this at deer rank or is it a mistake? Did a patch change it? And if rawhide is available, are the other starting armors (apprentice and chainmail) also available? --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 24.240.36.43 (talk).
- I think it may be a bug. I got "PvP Rawhide Boots", but it's grouped with the PvP Rogue set and the icon and the looks match the PvP Rogue set. Not to mention the fact that there's a second, different pair of PvP Rawhide Boots that are more in line with what they should be. 84.60.124.52 16:01, 9 November 2012 (UTC)
Frozen Weapons[edit]
I received a PvP Frozen Short Bow from a Gold Deer Chest. Assuming that all Frozen weapons are Deer-level weaponry and that the list already contains four different sets of available weapons at that tier, that'd make it the fifth set from that tier (though I've personally only seen Gear, Krait and Frozen weapons so far). 84.60.124.52 16:06, 9 November 2012 (UTC)
Svanir vs Etched[edit]
I noticed something in the deer rewards.... I use the PvP Svanir Axe, which appears to have the appearance of "Etched Skeggox" in the table... I also use the PvP Svanir Greatsword, which appears to have the appearance of "Etched Avenger"
There are no such PvP items in the game. Is this a mistake in the tables?
I'm pretty sure that the Etched and Svanir weapons are "the same", and the PvP weapon in that tier is one or the other.... and they both don't exist. IE: I have a PvP Etched Blade.... and there is no PvP Svanir one handed sword... I have PvP Svanir Axe... and there is no PvP Etched Axe...
You can see which items exist in the PvP locker.
So i think that inadvertently someone used a table template, and essentially doubled the amount of items... and created a bunch of broken links to pages that don't exist.... or created links to pages that are PvE equivalents of the PvP items (that don't even exist in the game).
IE: The Greatsword in this tier is "PvP Svanir Greatsword," not "PvP Etched Avenger" yet the wiki says they both exist.... which isn't the case.
In fact... the wiki doesn't have a page for the real item, and has one for the fake. 76.16.108.117 06:06, 26 February 2013 (UTC)
- Yeah, the items for Etched are svanir, there's no etched weapons in the pvp locker, and the recipe for etched and svanir are the same. Need to combine the pages for the weapons and get rid of the etched in that table.--216.36.152.178 21:15, 28 March 2013 (UTC)
Unsalvaged item recipe[edit]
I noticed that you can place one (and only one) piece of actual gear (not salvaged) in the forge. What recipe is this used for? 76.253.2.43 04:22, 10 August 2013 (UTC)
Handler in item list?[edit]
What's with the 'handler' item in the item list? It doesn't direct anywhere and I'm not exactly sure what it's meant to be. I was also under the impression that Phoenix rank went to 79, then Dragon started at 80, and that was the max rank (essentially PvE levels). I won't edit it out since I'm not sure about the ranks, and a mysterious item that may or may not exist is way cooler than nothing. 110.174.243.167 13:13, 5 January 2014 (UTC)
- "unknown" as in, not known which of the ranks above it fits into. Its a bit misleading, I'll give you that. There were a couple of other items in that row of the table, but they've slowly been identified and moved to other rows in the table. I can't comment on whether 80-89 is accurate or just bs. -Chieftain Alex 18:33, 5 January 2014 (UTC)
