---Salvage--- Will this salvage into balls of dark energy, or simply other nonsense like rings and most amulets?

Does the Prototype Fractal Capacitor (Ascended) revert to being "Soulbound on Equip" after being upgraded from the exotic Prototype Fractal Capacitor? That is, after I upgrade it, can I give it to any of my characters or does it stay tied to whomever the exotic Prototype Fractal Capacitor is soulbound to? 128.112.50.194 16:03, 2 July 2013 (UTC)

Anyone knows if those can be infused using the same recipe as the quivers and books to grant additional +5 agony resistance?

Any chance that the upgrade component in the Prototype Fractal Capacitor used as an ingredient affects the result? --Felbryn 18:41, 22 November 2012 (UTC)

Quiver of Swift Flight better than these in ANY way? Lithril 04:36, 28 November 2012 (UTC)

Crystals and Stones[edit]

All of the Tome back items provide a defensive slot and use crystals the Quivers use Stones and provide offensive an slot. The page here says the defensive prototype use stones, seems a little unintuitive, is it the correct way round? 82.69.137.180 12:21, 28 November 2012 (UTC)

Is there a difference whether you choose Crystal or Philosopher's Stone despite the slot type? It seems better defensive since it costs less, and +5 Precision in that special infusion don't seem much... 189.58.54.229 18:14, 29 November 2012 (UTC)
The information on the page is correct, i can confirm crystals for offensive, so i guess philo stones are for defensive. Fadjon 19:22, 29 November (GMT+1)

Can't make it?[edit]

I have the correct amount of crystals, the Ascension gift, the Fractal capacitor, and the vial. But when I go to Mystic forge it, I can only use the first three, the Vial shadows out.. Putting it in anyway doesn't do anything. Why is this? Copain 04:04, 18 February 2013 (UTC)

Guess it was a bit of a glitch... It let me do it later..Copain 04:39, 18 February 2013 (UTC)

Binding[edit]

In the description it's said to be Account Bound but when it's equipped on a character it becomes Soulbound (thus meaning it's Soulbound on use) or it remains Account Bound?

Dunno how old this question is since it is unsigned, but to my knowledge most, if not all, ascended items are account-bound only, meaning you can transfer them from character to character as long as they can equip them (level, light/medium/heavy armor, weapon type). Makes ascended trinkets a must have since they're so easy to get. 217.15.224.210 04:57, 6 August 2014 (UTC)
