If someone knows how to fix these errors, go right ahead. I might take a look in the coming week, but it will take a while for me to even first understand how this page actually works. -Darqam 22:06, 18 December 2016 (UTC)

Total needs to be greater than one. - 23:02, 18 December 2016 (UTC)
Also summary template needs to specify the correct container as the first parameter. - 23:20, 18 December 2016 (UTC)
Good news! It works! Bad news, the list of stuff is wrong, and I don't want to break it to correct what is and isn't there. =c - Doodleplex 07:16, 19 December 2016 (UTC)
OK! I finally got it all to update and show the right items. If there is anything not working, I can now (maybe) fix it since I actually understand where everything comes from. -Darqam 17:07, 19 December 2016 (UTC)
I added my stuff and it broke again. =< - Doodleplex 18:24, 19 December 2016 (UTC)
Did you purposefully add the line {{Giant Wintersday Gift research summary}}? Cause that's what broke it. -Darqam 18:30, 19 December 2016 (UTC)
No. Also not all the things I put in are showing up, like festive tonics. - Doodleplex 18:36, 19 December 2016 (UTC)
I see the missing stuff... no idea why it doesn't work. I'll keep looking, but I am very lost as to why it's happening. We could manually merge the entries, but that is not a nice solution. -Darqam 18:54, 19 December 2016 (UTC)
Ok, I got it fixed. I was dumb enough to forget to actually define the new items that dropped. Hopefully now it all works nice and pretty. -Darqam 19:10, 19 December 2016 (UTC)

(Reset indent) Darn, you got to it first :P. I was trying to work on a solution using Chieftain Alex's form for the Trick-or-Treat Bags in my sandbox and almost had it working too. Icons aren't working on it :/. Perhaps a solution for Wintersday Gifts will come later with it Sythe 19:31, 19 December 2016 (UTC)

Is Wintersday Gift/research bugged as well? It seems to work fine. Or were you wanting it to be changed into the same format as here? -Darqam 19:35, 19 December 2016 (UTC)
It shouldn't be broken unless I botched something up when making the copy-paste for people to put in the data. It's possible, but I could swear it's all correct. =< - Doodleplex 19:39, 19 December 2016 (UTC)
No, the current one is fine as it is (not buggy). I just think that it might be preferable to update it to the current form which is much more user friendly. I don't care one way or another if it is decided to be updated, it works all the same to me Sythe 19:42, 19 December 2016 (UTC)
Perhaps, but with all the bugs and hiccups we're having with this one, and the fact that Alex is out of town until nearly the end of Wintersday, we may as well just leave it be and use that so there's something reliable instead of a something buggy/nothing. - Doodleplex 19:47, 19 December 2016 (UTC)
To be honest, the buggy behavior is because I really didn't know what I was doing when trying to adapt it to the new drops. Now that I understand it a bit more I might be able to change it to that. I'll make test runs much later today if someone doesn't get to it first. -Darqam 19:52, 19 December 2016 (UTC)

More errors[edit]

Seems like adding new info doesn't seem to be sticking. I've put the info into [[Form: Personalized Wintersday Gift research]],Template: Personalized Wintersday Gift research summary, Template: Personalized Wintersday Gift research line and still, it hates me. Sythe 21:24, 28 December 2016 (UTC)

Should be fixed, you had the right idea, but had not actually added the form entries. Also I took the liberty of fixing those links in your previous comment. *grumble grumble* damn edit conflict -Darqam 21:34, 28 December 2016 (UTC)
The "Add data" tool is still broken, I attempted to use it to add a line to the table, and it deleted several entries instead. I had to manually edit the page to add the data successfully. RWinter (talk) 00:51, 18 May 2017 (UTC)
Ahh, so that's what happened-I meant to ask, but wasn't able to get back online until now. I also had to enter my last entry manually, though I thought it was just me hitting a button wrong and hence why I didn't say anything then. - Doodleplex 00:58, 18 May 2017 (UTC)
