When I went to purchase these yesterday I noticed I was limited to only 8, even with over 20 pearls. Also I could have sworn I saw one time purchase only for the account. I went to buy one just now and got a dialogue box saying "You can only buy 8 of this item per account. Are you sure you want to purchase it now?" I wasn't sure and came to the Wiki to find out what it is, if it's 8 per day/week/month or 8 ever and if so whether it matters if I buy it now or later. I believe this is a bug, the vendor actually resets after every grid (meta) event; allowing you to purchase more than 8 per day. The limit appears to be account-wide at 8/day if you don't do the meta event. Sythe 19:04, 27 July 2017 (UTC)

Went through last night did three areas, Lyssa, Balthazar, and Dwayna. Only could purchase from Lyssa despite killing champ at all three areas (gold on all three). At Lyssa I did participate in other events than just the champ. Will test again, could have just been bugged.70.195.133.129 14:01, 28 July 2017 (UTC)

I had the vendor offer me 8, 8, 6, 4, 8. It appears to me, that if you spend too long in an instance, there is some sort of a diminishing return. Or perhaps you get less if you only get silver/copper participation. Keyaelamor (talk)

Well, I revise my statement. It would appear this to not be a bug. The confirmation prompt does not specify that this is on a per day basis; in fact it doesn't state how to gain more coffers whatsoever. I think the reward algorithm for this item is just horribly buggy at the moment. One day I'll be getting it from all 4 merchants with only heart completion. The next I'll be getting 1 after doing all the power-up events. The day after that I get 1 or 2 from power up events, but can't get any more. Thought about gossamer scrap
