seems out of place and a good way of keeping people in a place that they don't want to be.--72.189.85.14 03:32, 31 January 2009 (UTC)

Adds realism and makes the game more challenging.
Realism + Fantasy world = x/o, and challenge? Not really. What's the challenge in being able to, theoretically, go anywhere with >100 people? Sure, barely anyone will get xp / lewt, but it's possible. Yawn! Also, a fully persistant world is, by standard, uglier, due to a lower poly-count. --- Ohaider!-- talkpage 21:09, 1 February 2009 (UTC)

I believe that ANet will make this game perfect,so no need to break our heads thinking will it be bad. No monthly fees is what matters, you can play freely without any monthly pressure.GW1 is the first MMORPG that has the best graphics, better than WoW,better than Warhammer.Lower PC's can support it perfectly,512 connection too.I can't complain about it.WoW and WH have monthly fees aswell as LOTRO and can't be measured with GW1,not to mention with GW2 :P.79.101.171.244 11:16, 2 February 2009 (UTC)

GW1 has some persistance (VAEL cough cough), so it shouldn't be a big problem.--DAVAUser Dav Tick green.png 06:57, 4 February 2009 (UTC)
lol. Comparing a persistant world to an NPC that appears semi-randomly... 85.83.14.189 07:21, 20 June 2009 (UTC)

Is there loading screens between areas and major cities?--70.82.209.38 14:25, 15 April 2012 (UTC)
