I just tried to make the mystic mote using the mystic forge recipe twice and it gave me 2 different Superior Sigils. The recipe for artificer did work, however the mystic mote does not have a slot in material storage under Basic Crafting Materials (as the box in the upper right corner seems to suggest).

I've looked into it, and the recipe apparently only worked for a short period of time and has been removed, so I've removed it from the page. As per the infobox, the "basic" is pulled from the API, it does not refer to the bank material storage. If it did go into the bank material storage it would say in the infobox "Mat. storage" like Symbol of Control has in it's infobox. I hope this clears everything up for you.
