Area contains Sand Lion, hostile lvl 80 creature with Destroys Projectiles and Blinds abilities. On engage it creates Stinging Sand Shield (15 sec unique buff with 5 stacks) which seems to block projectiles at cost of one stack. It also has Swipe, Bite and Sand Swipe abilities. ..wanted to leave this feedback on Sand Lion article but that doesnt exist yet and im terrible at making new pages :3.
