Activation[edit]

On activation or when applied to an enemy? Gnarf 19:34, 2 June 2012 (UTC)

On apply - when "venom activates" on the enemy. You could still use a venom skill when not targeting any enemy and the trait would be wasted. Mediggo 19:53, 2 June 2012 (UTC)

Vanomous Aura[edit]

Does anyone know if this applies to allies with Venomous Aura? --71.92.116.160 01:01, 28 July 2012 (UTC)

Really doubt it would. The game does track the source of incoming and outgoing effects, but I don't think trait's effects are moved to other players as well. Would mess up the game imo. Mediggo 12:16, 28 July 2012 (UTC)
It is confirmed that shared venoms retain all trait benefits of the sharer. So, a thief traited for Leeching Venoms that shared their venoms would allow their team to also steal health when applying the venom to enemies. Ravic 09:05, 11 August 2012 (UTC)
In my testing we could not get a friend to steal health using a venom applied by another thief with Leeching Venoms. 117.214.240.11 13:31, 11 December 2013 (UTC)

Effect of Healing Power on Potency[edit]

Healing Power HP/hit
200 365
250 (+50) 375 (+10)
300 (+100) 385 (+20)
350 (+150) 395 (+30)

It looks like you get +1 HP recovered for every 5 healing. I haven't figured out if it also applies to venoms shared to party members, that'll have to wait until I can get a friend to help. Kowen 7:30, 9 October 2012 (UTC)

Tested this again with a buddy and the increase also applies to venom you share with party members.Kowen 8:12, 9 October 2012 (UTC)
Thanks for your research. I previously noticed that Venomous Aura can spread venoms for any kind of ally (not just party members) within 300 (or 400) unit radius. Mediggo 08:18, 9 October 2012 (UTC)
Yeah that's true, thanks for articulating my notes a little better on the page (if you were the one who edited it). :) I just now amended it a bit to clarify that allies' HP bonus also comes from the thief's healing power. Kowen 08:27, 9 October 2012 (UTC)
Yeah, looks perfect now. Mediggo 08:33, 9 October 2012 (UTC)
