Talk:King Roderick

Something doesn't fit here. King Baede's eldest son, the "unnamed elementalist," never inherited the throne. Edair was named Rex Designatis upon his father's death, and proceeded with the events in Sea of Sorrows. Roderick is nowhere to be seen in that.

Not that I've never known a tour guide to be mistaken, but perhaps he was Edair's son? His name is related to the name Rurik, per the trivia, and his place as the son of an overly-ambitious and ultimately foolish ruler may be a fun little egg for lore fans who journeyed to this game from the old Tyria that we knew and loved.
