Why does it say "Discipline: Artificer"?
- edit* nevermind, it's actually a crafting material... didn't catch that--147.86.234.2 10:55, 26 July 2016 (UTC)
Skill Verification[edit]
Although the thief skill is an F2 skill and the version linked here would be considered a bundle skill, the tooltip is exactly the same; I think this is more of a matter of consistency within the wiki than any difference in the skill itself.
Three separate examples:
- the ele trait Burning Fire can trigger Cleansing Fire. They are exactly the same, but the trait-triggered skill and the utility skill version have different wiki pages, which link to one another.
- the ele trait Earth's Embrace triggers Armor of Earth - again, it's a duplicate of another skill, with its own wiki page, but that one makes sense to separate, because one of them is an NPC skill, while the other is a trait-only elementalist skill.
- the ele trait Gale Song triggers the shout "Eye of the Storm!" - and in that case, the wiki links directly from the trait to the tempest utility skill.
So. Today after seeing that this needed verification, I can indeed verify (with a screenshot if needed) that the skill granted by the consumable is the same skill stolen by thieves/available as thief F2 skill. However, verifying that doesn't change the need for a firm policy on how to create/link the wiki pages for these kinds of dual-origin skills. -Adelas (talk) 21:10, 9 October 2016 (UTC)
- Sigh. Because Anet doesn't make our lives easy, right? I'm not sure how well the wiki can handle the same skill from different sources. If the skills have the same ID, would they also share the same cooldown (assuming there is one)? G R E E N E R 22:06, 9 October 2016 (UTC)
