NPCs

As you can see on the map, the Hall of Memories actually takes most of the space of Heart of the Mists itself, so i feel it would be redundant to repeat NPCs and areas on both pages. --Ee 05:44, 15 June 2012 (UTC)

I guess NPCs are listed in pages on areas instead of keeping a list of entire zone's NPCs. This zone and area, however, will easily be likened as overlapping by community. If the NPCs were listed on area of Hall of Memories instead, there could be put a notice on Heart of the Mists which clearly directs any readers to PvP lobby service NPCs, since they might become quite often requested information via Heart of the Mists page. I noticed many NPC's who I think are in the Hall of Memories and aren't listed here. They don't even have articles themselves while other NPC's seem to have them. There are so many missing that I feel like it might be on purpose though so not sure if I should edit them in.

• Professor Grump [Engineer Trainer]
• Henri Givans [Guardian Trainer]
• Anneke the Shattered [Mesmer Trainer]
• Egonn [Necromancer Trainer]
• Taura [Ranger Trainer]
• Hemlock [Thief Trainer]
• Hamflr the Bowyer [Warrior Trainer]
• Arena Vendor

And I think that PvP Items [Armorsmith] and PvP Items [Weaponsmith have been replaced by Melina [Armorsmith] and Evan Flashgore [Weaponsmith].

They sell different items than their supposed predecessors though so I am not sure about that either.

All the glory vendors, Scout Master and the Underwater Combat Trainer seem to have disappeared completely.

Citizen, Combat Medic, Soldier and Trainer and Veteran [Scout] are also missing but they are part of the training area, which although also labeled Hall of Memories might not be included here on purpose.

So I don't know if there was some major change to this area and this page is outdated or something special is going on that I should be aware of first. Tharkon (talk) 23:10, 2 August 2014 (UTC)

It's because this is a PvP map, and the overlap between people who play PvP, people who care about NPCs, and people who edit the wiki is very small. —Dr Ishmael 02:30, 3 August 2014 (UTC)

Starting Tutorial Area is a Zone, Not Instance?

Even though this area appears to be an instance, unlike other instances players who are not in your party can still load into it. I entered via the NPC in the Heart of the Mists, and was surprised when around 30 seconds later another player appeared (I had never seen another player in there). So it seems to be an instance/zone hybrid like the PvE tutorial areas.152.7.16.116 04:10, 7 May 2013 (UTC)
