Talk:Grandmaster's Training Manual
Can't use bug?[edit]
Just got to level 60... bought my grandmaster's training manual. Double click. Page audio is heard. Then nothing.
Bug? Ideas?
- It just worked fine for me, you should sign bug comments for a timestamp, btw 192.168.104.81 15:03, 9 September 2012 (UTC)
- Exact same thing happened to me. My grandmaster manual doesn't work. I will note that I skipped the master's manual. Wondering if that's the issue. don't wanna waste 1 gold finding out though. 192.168.104.81 16:45, 9 September 2012 (UTC)
- According to a recent update to Training Manual with a talk note, that is the problem. You must use them in order. --Sepp 16:59, 9 September 2012 (UTC)
- Hmm, must have been a change since launch. I got my ele to 80 in the first week and bought the Adept book at lvl 11 and then bought the Grandmaster one at lvl 60. It let me use it fine without using the second one.
- Confirming - buying and using second book allowed me to use the third - before that I couldn't use Grandmaster Manual. --User:Anonymus 3:29, 27 April 2013 (UTC)

i used them in order, but still the grandmaster's one doesn't work (Berendina, lvl 71 ranger)
just purchased grand master without getting master and it does not work.
I just purchased one too and it does not work. This is not the first time I used a Grandmaster's Training Manual. If I have to keep purchasing the other two books every time I want to use a GTM then that is silly. Once you unlock the GTM then you shouldn't have to keep purchasing the others. This is one of those gold sinks that does not make sense. I want to tweak my build and test but can't do it unless I spend 1 gold??? O.o 75.191.166.135 22:32, 29 May 2013 (UTC)
- Sigh... Every character has to use each manual (Adept/Master/Grandmaster) in sequence, only 1 time each in order to unlock all 3 trait tiers. After that, you never use a manual again, you simply speak to the trainer and pay them directly to refund your trait points. —Dr Ishmael 23:04, 29 May 2013 (UTC)
Re-speccing traits while in a dungeon[edit]
Is it possible to have multiple Grandmaster's Training Manuals in your inventory so that you can change your traits on the fly without leaving an instance (assuming you are the "dungeon starter", so leaving the dungeon will make the party lose the instance)?
